VICTORIA BY FARMER'S DAUGHTERS - BALLARAT REGION
How to convey the spirit of a region's produce and craft in a silent 'wallpaper' film?

Client: City of Ballarat

Title: Victoria Restaurant

Producer: Far Flung Films

We were commissioned to create a 20 minute reel to run silently on loop on a large screen at the Victoria by Farmer's Daughters. The acclaimed venue with Executive Chef Alejandro Saravia offers a groundbreaking farm to table experience that takes you on a seasonal journey to all of Victoria’s regions, unearthing stories from some of the most dedicated and specialised producers that call the state home.

We spent time with a large variety of producers and artisans in the greater Ballarat region - wineries, ceramicists, Wadawurrung weavers, distilleries, beekeepers, even a truffle farm!  Along the way we captured some of the country and more urban landscapes to help paint a rich portrait of the area.
