Ballarat was designated a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art in 2019.
Celebrating skills and talents, capturing the cultural heart of Ballarat, this 3-part series features 3 local artisans and explores their techniques, background and creative inspirations. They also explain the importance of the UNESCO designation. We visit Wadawurrung woman weaver Tammy Gilson, ceramicist Neville French and ceramicist Cassy McArthur.
